提琴一般的壽命最多可以到三百年. 如果保養得宜 還有可能再長一些。通常一把琴可以被五至六代职业演奏家使用，这之后木材老化造成琴板强度降低，薄薄的琴板无法抵抗来自琴弦的压力，结构的变形直接影响到发音，这 把琴就不能再用了。
大提琴也要避免直接陽光直射和大幅度的温度变化，热源更要避免琴经受大幅度的湿度变化，远离暖气片，加湿器。
如果平常不常使用提琴的話, 至少半年要拿出來保養擦拭一次, 保养擦拭琴的时候請小心，動作不要過大，最好不要将琴水平放置擦拭，以免将琴柱弄倒.
不要使用商业用的"去污剂"来清洁乐器，它们往往含有溶剂和研磨剂，可能 损坏乐器。在很大程度上，古典面漆最好的例子就是没有经常打磨，这真正是出于保存考虑的。

Our 2018 Concert was a resounding success, thanks to our performers, sponsors, and the enthusiasm of our audience！ We played to a full house in one of Sydney's most prestigious concert venues. With two amazing concert grands in the hall, our performers were able to fill the room with sounds that delighted: Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and even a brand-new instrumental work that premiered on the day!
We don't know whether to feel proud or sad that our concert sold out ahead of time.. but it does mean that we are trying to relocate to a venue with more than 500 seats in the future. We didn't want anyone to miss out on the performance, so we live-steamed the whole concert for our friends who weren't able to get a ticket and those who wanted to join us from overseas.
Special thanks to Australian Piano Warehouse for their generous support and the provision of Bösendorfer 280VC Concert Grand Piano, valued at approximately $270,000. This beautiful instrument has such a rich sound, and contrasted perfectly with the brighter sound of the conservatorium's Fazioli concert grand. The combination of these incredible instruments, combined with our talented performers, was truly a treat for all.

Another successful day at our 2018 annual student concert! Everyone performed their best and enjoyed hearing each other play a variety of polished pieces, from Mozart through to jazz. Many of our students perform regularly at our fortnightly concert series, but love the extra special opportunity to perform on a Steinway grand in one of Sydney's most prestigious concert venues. Quite a few students fell in love with the piano and are saving up for a Steinway...
Performing is enough of a reward on its own, but everyone loved the extra motivation of prizes in each session, and they audience had fun voting in the audience choice awards. Special thanks to Australian Piano Warehouse for their generous support and creation of the APW choice award, which rewarded some of our fabulous performers in each session with fantastic piano accessories like Roland headphones, metronomes and free piano tuning from a specialised technician. All performers received a gift from us - because every student that played worked so hard to deliver their best possible performance.
